The Thomas H Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey 2020 is a limited edition whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is aged for 6 years in new charred oak barrels and bottled at a strength of 125 proof. The whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of spice, oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex with notes of caramel, vanilla, and baking spices. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of pepper. This whiskey is perfect for sipping neat or in a classic Sazerac cocktail.
